Job description

  • Work closely with Sales teams to identify and develop Products for new and existing customer.
  • Provides pre-sales technical and project management expertise by assisting the Sales team in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications and plans for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
  • Makes technical sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Creates detailed design and implementation specifications for complex applications/systems.
  • Ability to build an application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client.
  • Provision of software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
  • Provides post-sales technical expertise during the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products.
  • Involvement in implementing detailed customer installation requirements.
  • Ensures that client's needs have been met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specification.
  • Provide support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3years relevant experience in consulting or software development and integration.
  • Knowledge of Internet Security technology (e.g. network, PKI, policy, VPN, Access control (PMI)).
  • Knowledge of Access and Identity Products/Solutions and awareness of diverse Product offerings in the competitive market would be an advantage.

Job description

Operating as a key member of the global accounting and tax team and WASBU leadership team, the person in this role will provide management and leadership for the accounting teams in the various Nigerian operations as well as oversight of statutory accounting compliance for all of the Nigerian statutory entities. Primarily responsible for the accounting and reporting (statutory and management), internal control and treasury activities in Nigeria, including management level analysis of results, the Controller will also work closely with the newly appointed Director of Planning & Performance in relation to all budgeting and forecasting activities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Management of all of the activities of the Accounting Departments in WASBU for the accurate and timely dissemination of statutory reporting and financial management reports.
  • Oversight and ownership of the internal control over financial reporting compliance efforts for all WASBU based operations for Bristow.
  • Ownership of the monthly close process and consolidation of all WASBU results according to the company’s global reporting procedures and formats.
  • Ensures that accounting staff members abide by regulatory guidelines, human resources policies and senior leadership's directives when performing duties.
  • Responsible for implementation of new accounting and reporting standards for reporting under local GAAP (IFRS applicable in Nigeria) and US GAAP for group consolidated reporting.
  • Main contact and liaison for external audit and internal audit activities related to WASBU (Nigeria based) statutory reporting and consolidated reporting under US GAAP performed for those operations.
  • Responsible for staff training and communication on the impacts for new accounting standards or policy changes.
  • Responsible for management of the preparation of all WASBU statutory reports for compliance with local requirements, including liaison, where necessary, with Corporate colleagues in both the UK and US for consolidated statutory and group reporting.
  • Responsible for the integration of new businesses into the accounting and reporting processes and systems of Bristow.
  • Strong business acumen - Understands business implications of decisions, displays orientation to profitability; demonstrates knowledge of market and competition and aligns work with strategic goals.
  • Analyses financial performance according to agreed KPIs and produces any and all required financial reports, including annual audited financial statements, to the Director, Global Operations Accounting (and, as required) the Chief Accounting Officer, highlighting exceptions and any areas of concern with recommended solutions.
  • Performs tasks as assigned from the Director, Global Operations Accounting (and, as required) the Chief Accounting Officer with accurate and timely work to support financial needs.
  • As necessary, assist the Director of Planning & Performance with annual business unit plans, the ongoing business unit forecasting processes, and provide input on relevant accounting support for new tenders and other related business analysis.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent) required.
  • 8-10 years’ experience within a global Accounting group.
  • Previous supervisory experience; competent managing, inspiring and delegating to staff.
  • A minimum of 5 years of SOX compliance experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion.

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Operational experience of Nigerian operations are preferred, as well as knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DCAA and DCMA.
  • Strong leadership, team management, interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of individuals, both internally and externally.
  • Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and treasury/ banking working knowledge.

Manager, Online User Experience and Self-Care

JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Online User Experience and Self Care will be responsible for devising, planning and driving the redesign of Etisalat online service channels to create a ‘best in class’ experience for customers, through effective co-operation with the proposition, products, marketing, brands and comms, Product Development and Channel teams.

Embedding a data-driven approach, leveraging customer insight and research from multi-variant testing to roll out iterative enhancements and fine-tune the online experience.

Drive customer-focused changes to operational and business processes to establish online as the channel of choice for an increasing proportion of Etisalat customers, and drive advocacy

 
The role is all about creating a 'best in class' online experience across online and self care platforms for our customers, providing clear and compelling reasons to service through Web, Mobile, IVR, and USSD channels. 
JOB  RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define user experience (UX) guiding principles and interaction styles.
  • Champion best practice of user centric design (UCD) and usability
  • Managing the accuracy and relevance of content on Etisalat.com.ng and all other Etisalat domain platforms.  
  • Develop and design guidelines in conjunction with Brands & Communications team to enforce site layout, look and feel. Delivering subjective appeal, consistency, ease of use and readability using the appropriate media to potential and existing customers.  
  • Define functionality for self care platforms and increase the volume of site visits and educating our customers of the benefits of using our online channel as an account management and self service channel.  
  • Work with the Brand & Communications, product management & development team to create and develop plans to deliver targets for online initiatives, including the forecasts and reports associated with these plans.
  • Continually optimise and improve the online customer experience to maximise impact on Self Service targets, including Web, IVR, USSD, Mobile app whilst ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and reducing calls into Etisalat Call Centres.
  • Create online service processes which achieve their highest potential (e.g. by monitoring page visits and dropout rates) and making improvements on usability.
  • Work with others teams across Etisalat including Commercial and Technical teams to develop manage and execute the online strategy; including promoting Value Added Services to existing customers. 
  • Manage and deliver tactical and strategic projects involving managing the complete end to end process from mapping customer journeys, wireframe development, UI/UX, creative execution
  • Reporting and analysis of online performance, providing weekly updates to business stakeholders including insight, plans and recommendations for areas that they own.
  • Manage content accuracy, relevance and enforce governance on Etisalat domain websites.
  • Work closely with portal development resource and continually improve the process to analyse, prioritise and efficiently manage tasks coming from areas of the business.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates’ performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, Customer Experience & Retention

Desired Skills and Experience

  • First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Must have completed NYSC program
  • 6 - 8 years as a usability engineer, user experience designer, graphic designer, user researcher, or equivalent title in software design or development
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript / Query
  • Demonstrable passion for online and UCD (User centric design)
  • Proven experience in online customer experience development and delivery
  • A thorough understanding of consumer needs, drivers and issues
  • Reporting and Analytics (strong Excel skills essential)
  • Willing to take the initiative, ability to innovate and think creatively
