2.) Requisite Qualification

A. Academic Positions


i) Professor

In addition, the applicant must be registered with relevant professional bodies, with evidence of academic leadership.

ii) Reader
Applicants must hold PhD, Masters and a good Bachelors degree in relevant fields. S/he must have sufficient and relevant publications in peer-reviewed, reputable journals and conference proceedings with at least eleven (11) years cognate teaching and research experience. In addition, the applicant must be registered with relevant professional bodies, with evidence of academic leadership.

iii) Senior Lecturer

Applicants must hold PhD Masters and a good Bachelors degree in relevant fields. S/he must have sufficient and relevant publications in peer-reviewed, reputable journals and conference proceedings with at least eight (8) years cognate teaching and research experience. In addition, the applicant must be registered with relevant professional bodies, with evidence of academic leadership.

iv) Lecturer I

Applicant must hold PhD, Masters and a good Bachelors degree in the relevant field in addition to having a minimum of five(S) years teaching and research experience and some scholarly publications.

v) Lecturer II

Applicants must hold Masters and a good Bachelors degree in relevant fields. S/he must have sufficient and relevant publications ri peer reviewed, reputable journals and conference proceedings with at least two (2) years cognate experience. In addition, the applicant must be registered with relevant professional bodies, with evidence of academic leadership, Applicants who possess a PhD degree are eligible for appointment to a lectureship without any previous teaching experience.

vi) Assistant Lecturer

Applicants most hold a Master’s degree and a good first degree in the relevant field. No previous teaching experience is required.

a. Health Sector
i) Director of Hospital Services

Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with fifteen years Post Basic Qualification experience. S/he must possess the Fellowship of the Nigerian Postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent and an up to date Registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. A Postgraduate qualification in Public Health will be an Advantage.

ii) Pharmacist

Applicants must hold a good B. Pham degree from a recognized University and must be Registrable with the Pharmacists Registration Council of Nigeria, Plus one year post-Registration Cognate experience.

iii) Medical Officer

Applicants must hold a degree in MBBS with a minimum of 2 years experience in Medical Practice at a recognized institution. S/he must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

iv) Nursing Officer

Applicants must hold a good Bachelors degree in Nursing Science from a recognized University and must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria

v) Nursing Superintendent

Applicants must hold the NRN Qualification from a recognized Nursing School within the Country and duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. A post Basic Qualification in Midwifery will be an added advantage.

vi) Laboratory Scientist

Applicants must hold a good Bachelors of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) and must be registered or registrable with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

i) Deputy Registrar

Applicants must hold Masters Degree and a good Bachelors degree in relevant fields with at least 15 years post-qualification cognate experience and evidence of membership of a registered professional body.

ii) Principal Assistant Registrar

Applicants must hold Matters and a good Bachelor Degree and possess at least 12 years post-qualification cognate experience and evidence of membership of a registered professional body.

vi Counseling Psychologist - Guidance And Counseling

Applicants must have a Masters Degree and a good Bachelor’s Degree in Guidance and Counselling. S/he must be over 30 years of age and must have served satisfactory as a Counselor in a School setting for at least 3 years. She must also be of good conduct.

vi) Coach
